What’s different about it, given how many tribute records to the heavy metal godfathers are there, is hinted at in its very title. This time stoner bands join in the fun of covering classics. For the most part not so well-known – except for PENTAGRAM and William Shatner, whose version of “Iron Man” already saw the light of day – the participants focused on the Ozzy era of the group, with only HOUSE OF BROKEN PROMISES venturing to the Dio period, and MOS GENERATOR noticing the appeal of “Technical Ecstasy.” Quality noise guaranteed.
