Alice Cooper And Rick Wakeman Cover PINK FLOYD

Out for some time, this somehow fell through informational cracks: another orchestral take on PINK FLOYD – now it was “Wish You Were Here” as peformed by THE LONDON ORION ORCHESTRA – involves such luminaries as Alice Cooper, who at one time shared a producer with the band, and their prog peer Rick Wakeman. The singer is delivering the album’s title track, where the keyboardist is also featured, and “Welcome To The Machine.” Among contributors are Dave Fowler & Stephen McElroy of THE AUSTRALIAN PINK FLOYD SHOW. Simply titled “Pink Floyd: Wish You Were Here Symphonic,” the tribute must be good – judging on the videos below.

Not strictly adhering to the original running order and ending with a classic from another FLOYD’s masterpiece, the record’s running order is:

Pink Floyd: Wish You Were Here Symphonic
