When a new line-up of KING CRIMSON was announced back in 2013, many fans didn’t seem surprised by the choice of the ensemble’s new singer and Robert Fripp’s guitar foil – because, having been in the band’s orbit for years, Jakko Jakszyk felt like a perfect man for the job. Still, most of the people outside of a prog circle haven’t heard of this artist despite Jakko’s long presence on British music scene. He cuts a lively figure on stage – as witnessed by this scribe in a few hours after our conversation took place.
