He had been a member of THE YARDBIRDS, a British blues band acclaimed for their sonic experiments that would be deemed legendary, and a successful songwriter whose numbers would be covered by hundreds of artists, including David Bowie and RAINBOW.
But, helping bring to fruition classic albums by Cat Stevens – among them “Teaser And The Firecat” – Paul Simon and JETHRO TULL, Paul Samwell-Smith can hardly regret his decision to lay down his bass guitar and become a producer.
Being busy as usual, the veteran still found time to talk about his approach and achievements.
