WISHBONE ASH have been a significant part of the ’70s rock scene, seamlessly melding hard rock attack, prog sophistication and folk mellowness. More so, their twin-guitar trademark sound became a prototype for many other bands, and their influence is widely felt today, even though the English group don’t fly as high now as they did in their halcyon years. But, led by Andy Powell, they do fly still, gradually restoring the glory of the old days with a new music.
