One month after they announced the departure of Linton Osborne – or, rather, after the vocalist announced his leave – and a year after they started working with Dan McCafferty‘s replacement, NAZARETH came forth with the name of a new singer. It’s Carl Sentance, who’s known to NWOBHM fans for his work with PERSIAN RISK and to the fans of BLACK SABBATH for fronting GEEZER BUTLER BAND. There also were KROKUS, projects with Paul Chapman and Don Airey – Sentance has a commitment to the latter one before he fully starts with NAZ – so Carl’s age, experience and credentials seem appropriate enough for his new work. Here’s hoping.
