RAINBOW Report From Their 2016 Concerts

It didn’t take Ritchie Blackmore long to prepare live recordings and footage from the concerts RAINBOW played this summer: “Memories In Rock – Live In Germany” will see the light of day on November 18th. As its title suggests, that’s going to be a document from the band gigs on June 17th and 18th (or from 18th only, as “16th Century Greensleeves” wasn’t played at the first date) at the “Monsters Of Rock” festival, with their Birmingham performance set aside. Not brilliant by any means, this release is to have more historical, rather than pleasurable, value, so there’s a variety of formats for those who may want to limit the experience to either audio or video. The album is to be out on 2CD, 3LP, DVD and Blu-ray, with a Deluxe Edition encompassing all but vinyl but adding a 48-page hardback photo book.
