Ted Turner Gets Spiritual On Duo Album

Amazingly, for all his credentials, Ted Turner has never released a solo record. Mostly known as a founding member of WISHBONE ASH, a part of their twin-guitar engine, and one of acoustic players on John Lennon’s “Imagine” where he performed on two songs, Ted was also in the resurrected BADFINGER for a while and played with other artists over the years. But since the early ’70s, Turner pursued a personal belief: a possibility to make this world better, and raise global consciousness, via music, and now the quest has finally came to fruition on “Better Together”: an album the veteran laid down with his wife Majella to chart their journey from friendship to marriage and beyond, to spiritual world.

Out now, the album consists of a dozen pieces and, hopefully, it’s only a start of a new chapter in Ted Turner’s career. Read the review here.
