The liquidation of Team Rock array of publications, including paper magazines and websites, sent ripples through music circles, and many fans rushed to support 73 journalists who were laid off shortly before Christmas with no pay for December. One of those eager to contribute to the cause is Helge Rognstad and his band THE FLUFFY JACKETS, a collective that delivered a wonderful album "Fighting Demons" back in 2014. Now they have a single out, “44 Blues” featuring former NAZARETH guitarist Manny Charlton, with all proceeds from its sales to be channeled to Team Rock.
The song is available for download from iTunes and Amazon, so there’s a great reason to get this new cut of the old blues: to make Yuletide brighter for those whose rock got rolled.
