Universally famous for his chthonic riffage, Tony Iommi has demonstrated a lot of melodic sensuality with BLACK SABBATH, but even his old fans may be surprised by the guitarist’s latest endeavor. His latest composition is called “How Good It Is” and it’s a piece recorded for the veteran’s hometown – with the Birmingham Cathedral Choir to the words selected by Catherine Ogle, Dean of Birmingham. The solemn hymn is fantastically enchanting and can point the way for Iommi to try once, in a month’s time, Tony’s band will have played their last ever chord.
