It’s a bit of ironic, to have an outside singer perform on your debut single, but then – given it’s a showcase for an album titled "Chasing Rainbows" – roping in a former RAINBOW frontman turns irony into art.
The cut Graham Bonnet came in to deliver with his usual swagger is a fine slice of heavy blues-rock with a powerful groove that sees the band build tension reservedly yet resolutely, so there’s almost orchestral finesse in the rhythm section sway and guitar lines. A precious piece of an old-school value.
