Last year saw the release of FISH ON FRIDAY‘s third album, "Godspeed", which was an utter delight. The band’s progress didn’t go unnoticed and, thanks to their on-and-off bassist Nick Beggs – who’s to take part in the making of the ensemble’s next effort which is being in the works now, – came to Alan Parsons‘ attention. Impressed, the legendary sound sculptor has invited these kindred spirits to record with him at Abbey Road, with the sessions scheduled for November. Since such an opportunity can’t be missed, the group had to temporarily replace guitarist Marty Townsend, their on-stage musical director who’s on tour at the moment, with a prog stalwart John Mitchell whose CV includes stints with ARENA, John Wetton, IT BITES and more. Looks like 2016 will bring a killer addition to FOF’s discography.
