Glenn Cornick passed away

Glenn CornickOn August 28th, Glenn Cornick, a great bass player mostly known for his stint with JETHRO TULL, passed away due to heart failure, his health having deteriorated rather quickly. Actually, Cornick’s work alongside Ian Anderson had started in THE JOHN EVAN BAND, before “Stand Up” was released, and continued up to the "Aqualung" sessions, although Glenn’s name didn’t make it onto that album’s credits.

Still, his playing became truly virtuoso later on, when the artist joined WILD TURKEY, the band he reformed in the ’90s, with German’s KARTHAGO and then, in the company of FLEETWOOD MAC’s Bob Welch, PARIS. Cornick never stopped playing and will be missed by many who were touched by his warm personality.
