Documenting the veterans’ concerts in Houston’s “Billy Blues” and “Rockefeller’s” from 1998 and 1999, the package features, alongside the band’s leader, guitarist Buddy Whittington, bassist John Paulus and drummer Joe Yuele, who deliver incendiary takes on such classics as “A Hard Road” and cuts from the then-recent “Padlock On The Blues” album. With only eight pieces on display, the setlist may seem a bit too short, yet it’s the spirit that counts here.

3. My Country Girl
4. Congo Square
5. A Hard Road
