FACES’ First-Ever Recordings To Be Out

September 17, 2025

When “Five Guys Walk Into A Bar…” saw the light of day back in 2004, FACES were in for a pleasant shock which has been reverberating for two decades now, as that box set became a firm favorite with many – and there was no major archival release from the band since then. Yes, quite a few bonus tracks landed on the “You Can Make Me Dance, Sing Or Anything 1970-1975” collection ten years ago, and 2024 found aficionados relishing "The Complete BBC Concert & Session Recordings 1970–1973"; yet another compilation of previously unissued studio cuts is long overdue. This situation will be somewhat remedied on October 31st, though.

STATUS QUO Take “On The Level” To Anniversary Heights

September 15, 2025

Released in 1975, “On The Level” holds a special place in STATUS QUO history. This is exactly what Steve’s doing on the album credited to Morse’s group, called “Triangulation” and scheduled for release on November 14th.

September 11, 2025

Though never considered their fans’ favorite platter, 1975’s “The Last Record Album” was an important milestone in LITTLE FEAT‘s ascent to immortality, with songs like “One Love Stand” and “All That You Dream” firmly setting in the American ensemble’s live repertoire. A little surprise, then, that in the wake of the expanded reissue of "Feats Don't Fail" that got released last year, a similar repackaging of its follow-up will arrive.

Jimi Hendrix’s “Bold As Love” Gets A Super Deluxe Spin

September 9, 2025

Its stunning cover artwork would have been enough to make the second album by THE JIMI HENDRIX EXPERIENCE memorable, but of course the music of “Axis” Bold As Love” surpassed this platter’s sleeve. Given the record’s popularity, fans have been waiting for its super deluxe reissue – there was a mere deluxe back in 2010, with a DVD added to the package – ever since the anniversary edition of “Electric Ladyland” saw the light of day in 2018. And their wish will be granted on November 7th with the release of four-CD (or five-LP) and Blu-ray version of the classic.
