PSYCHEDELIC WARLORDS look into the future

HAWKWIND’s history is inextricably connected to that of Michael Moorcock, and while the band haven’t collaborated with the author for a while, their former bassist Alan Davey is doing exactly that now, with his band THE PSYCHEDELIC WARLORDS. Currently on tour celebrating the 40th anniversary of HAWKS’ “Hall of the Mountain Grill” and Robert Calvert’s "Captain Lockheed And The Starfighters", the group started work on their debut album, with the late singer’s daughter, Maya Calvert Constantine, among the guests. The ensemble’s first fresh song, “Steel Tsar,” has already received its live premiere, so the fantasy and space-rock aficionados should keep their ear out.
