RENAISSANCE Pledge For A Live Recording

renlogoIt’s been four years since RENAISSANCE released a concert recording – limited edition 2CD/2DVD document of their 2011 tour – and, since then, some things changed. The major turn was the passing of guitarist and main composer Michael Dunford in 2012, yet Annie Haslam soldiers on and moves the band forward, and next month they’re to tour Europe for the first time in more than three decades. In order to preserve this for posterity, there’s a plan to record a DVD at London’s Union Chapel on April 16th.

So, given a label interest sometimes is less preferable nowadays than doing it all by oneself, RENAISSANCE launch a pledge campaign offering great rewards to those who’ll contribute a certain sum towards the product slated for release in October. There are items with Annie’s personal touch, yet the most affordable and appealing one is a DVD: a limited edition deluxe package that will include a 2-hour concert video with 5.1 and 2.0 audio, a digital audio album download and an 8-page booklet housed in a foldout digipack cover. Sounds good.
