THE GUILTY MEN, With Members Of BJH and 10CC, Ready To Debut

The names of Neil Cossar and Clive Gregson may not ring a bell to those who didn’t listen to THE CHEATERS and ANY TROUBLE back in the early ’80s, when the two British musicians became firm friends before life somewhat loosen their bond. The former’s career has seen him switch to radio DJing to a music PR specialist to a music book publisher, while the latter issued a string of solo platters, worked with Richard Thompson and Christine Collister, became an in-demand session man in Nashville and saw his songs covered by Norma Waterson, Kim Carnes and Nanci Griffith. Still, the old pals stayed in touch and finally joined forces in 2021 to form THE GUILTY MEN, fleshing out the band’s line-up with 10CC drummer Paul Burgess, and bassist Craig Fletcher and keyboardist Jez Smith and from John Lees’ BARCLAY JAMES HARVEST. And now this supergroup are ready to release their first album.

Laid down live in the studio, with most of the pieces requiring two or three takes max, to be out on September 6th, “Invisible Confetti” features no less than four lead singers, so the album’s stylistic reach is impressive – if the cuts turned into videos are anything to go by.
