AllMusic: Mobile Changes

For quick, if sometimes not full and exact, reference regarding recorded sounds many of us visit, an online encyclopedia that constantly gets bigger and better. Not many, though, become a registered user, but there are moments when it’s a good move. That’s what just came in and, for better or worse, DME shares this experience precisely as it emerged in the post.

Based on your feedback and the growing need for a better mobile experience we’ve been making some changes to AllMusic. The new features are available for you in beta if you want to check them out online or on your phone.
New Look and Feel
We wanted to give AllMusic a cleaner look, and move away from some of the dominant white spaces that many users talked to us about. We’ve returned to the familiar AllMusic blue color, developed a sharp new logo, narrowed the page width a bit for users with smaller browsers and really tried to lay out the pages in ways that offered the information cleanly with a modern presentation.
The Site Works on Your Phone
Whether you’re visiting us from your computer or smartphone, our new design is made to fit your current screen size. Now you can look to any time you need to get music info on the go.
Does your buddy think the lyrics to Purple Haze were “Excuse me while I kiss this guy”? AllMusic can settle that debate – we’re now offering lyrics on our song pages.
Overview Pages
Now when you land on an artist page, AllMusic offers an overview of selected albums and related artists to explore, giving a feel for what that band or musician is all about at a glance.
