Christy Moore Is Terrified By Beauty On Fresh Album

From his 1969 debut platter “Paddy On The Road” onwards, Christy Moore has been serving up fresh studio efforts every few years, and now, edging closer to octogenarian age, he doesn’t seem to be slowing down. Lately, the veteran’s audiences were even treated to his new pieces, and some of these appear on “A Terrible Beauty”: the wonderful album that saw the light of day om November 1st to be sold out within several days on many an outlet.

Of course, the beauty of Moore’s record lies – as it’s always been – in his working around traditional motifs in order to create something which is undeniably his own, and the fact that Christy sings the album’s opener “Boy In The Wild” together with his son Andy should only intensify this familiar, and familial, vibe.
