Jeff Christie Links His Past To The Present

Last time the world heard from Jeff Christie was almost a decade ago, when a new take on "For All Mankind" outlined the “Yellow River” writer’s eternal relevance, yet today is the day when the veteran issues a fresh full-length album. Titled “Here & Now” and featuring some familiar tunes amidst new ones, it’s, as Jeff points out, “a culmination of four years’ work starting before and during Covid” – which is why he decided to bring on those past gems into the present.

“The songs are the sum of all my musical influences in the sphere of pop and rock from the late Fifties onwards with particular emphasis on the critical epoch of the Sixties and Seventies,” adds Christie who’s been working for some time, in a duo with long time friend and collaborator Lorenzo Gabanizza, on another platter that will be released in the summer of 2025. “After the success of our four singles, it was almost mandatory!” claims Lorenzo. As for the ““Here & Now” songs, listen to one of those below and judge for yourselves.
