JETHRO TULL: Out Of The Woods On A New Box Set

As it was expected, the next installment in the JETHRO TULL deluxe reissue programme will be their 1977 folk rock masterpiece “Songs From The Wood” – scheduled for a May 19th release as “The Country Set” and comprised of three CDs and two DVDs. In a usual manner, the album’s original mix is available only on DVD, with Steven Wilson rejig of it all taking up CD space, so there’s no need to get rid of remastered discs. Alongside studio tapes and Jakko Jakszyk handling of the period live recordings in both audio and never-seen video formats, the set is to include a few previously unissued cuts such as Lemmy-inspired “Old Aces Die Hard” – with a 96-booklet adding informational substance to the package.

The new mix will also be available on a standalone CD and vinyl, as well as a digital download. But the must-have 40th anniversary set contains the following riches:
