Noddy Holder Joins BLACK SABBATH And Brian Eno In Cancer-Awareness Project

Unlike many of his peers, Noddy Holder quit the stage while being ahead of the curve and didn’t often entered the recording studio since then; when he did, it was not to sing – and the veteran didn’t really vocalize on November 1st, narrating instead a text – a diary entry by a World War I soldier after the Xmas truce of 1914 – that will latter be wrapped in Brian Eno‘s soundscapes to become a start of a new Christmas song for The Evamore Project which has musicians and actors record unique stories and help spread the word about one of the deadliest diseases.

There’s an entire album in the works to support The Cancer Awareness Trust, its first single, “One More Yard” performed by Sinéad O’Connor, Cillian Murphy, Ronnie Wood, Imelda May and the aforementioned Eno, released three years ago (watch the video below), and other cuts featuring Ozzy Osbourne, Tony Iommi, Geezer Butler – effectively, BLACK SABBATH, even though it’s not yet disclosed whether the three are on the same song – Nick Mason, Glenn Close, Christopher Eccleston, Orlando Bloom, Michael Palin, Toby Jones, Richard Armitage and many more artists. Some of them are to deliver the Yuletide number set to see the light of day before the full-length record which is scheduled for issue in 2023.
