WINGER ON THE WING
Former Alice Cooper bassman KIP WINGER releases on Frontiers Records his third solo album called “Songs From The Ocean Floor” on January 15, 2001. Guest performances on this one are courtesy of Moon Zappa which duets with Kip on “Sure Was a Wildflower” and his former bandmate Reb Beach.
Also Frontiers Records puts out Winger’s back catalogue reissues: “Thisconversationseemslikeadream” and “Down Incognito”.
“Down Incognito” is the new version of “Made By Hand” with revised artwork and two bonus live unplugged tracks added, “Rainbow In The Rose” and “Blind Revolution Mad”.
HEAVEN & EARTH” ARE CLOSING IN
Skilful British guitar player Stuart Smith returns with his solo project second album “Windows To The World”. On his last outing, 1998’s "Heaven & Earth", Smith gathered a great array of musicians with Joe Lynn Turner, Glenn Hughes and Richie Sambora involved. This time the sole singer is Kelly Keeling (ex-MSG, Carmine Appice GUITAR ZEUS etc.). Also at the hand are Tony Franklin, Chuck Wright and Howard Leese, while songwriting credits not only Joe Lynn Turner but Ritchie Blackmore as well. Release date is January 15, 2001.
