Steve Morse Pays Tribute To Late Wife On New Album

When Steve Morse parted ways with DEEP PURPLE in 2022, it wasn’t due to his wanting to pursue other ventures: the guitarist left to be with his terminally ill wife, who sadly died last year, and how else could the veteran recuperate from the tragedy other than playing his heart out. This is exactly what Steve’s doing on the album credited to Morse’s group, called “Triangulation” and scheduled for release on November 14th.

LITTLE FEAT Go Far On “The Last Record Album”

Though never considered their fans’ favorite platter, 1975’s “The Last Record Album” was an important milestone in LITTLE FEAT‘s ascent to immortality, with songs like “One Love Stand” and “All That You Dream” firmly setting in the American ensemble’s live repertoire. A little surprise, then, that in the wake of the expanded reissue of "Feats Don't Fail" that got released last year, a similar repackaging of its follow-up will arrive.

Jimi Hendrix’s “Bold As Love” Gets A Super Deluxe Spin

Its stunning cover artwork would have been enough to make the second album by THE JIMI HENDRIX EXPERIENCE memorable, but of course the music of “Axis” Bold As Love” surpassed this platter’s sleeve. Given the record’s popularity, fans have been waiting for its super deluxe reissue – there was a mere deluxe back in 2010, with a DVD added to the package – ever since the anniversary edition of “Electric Ladyland” saw the light of day in 2018. And their wish will be granted on November 7th with the release of four-CD (or five-LP) and Blu-ray version of the classic.

KULA SHAKER Wages War On Worms

As retro as they’ve always been – with a possible exception of their futuristic sophomore effort, 1999’s “Peasants, Pigs & Astronauts”KULA SHAKER don’t mind casting an eye into the next year and set January 30th, 2026 as the release date of the band’s new album. Titled “Wormslayer” and picking up where “Natural Magick” left off in 2024, it has all the chances to bring the Brits even closer to the spotlight they basked in back in mid-’90s.

It’s been for years that the veteran recorded albums using a KillSmith persona – such as 2014’s rock opera "KillSmith & The Greenfire Empire" and country-driven "KillSmith Goes West" from 2023 – and he’s just issued a new one in this series.
