While people can apply a wide variety of epithets to Peter Gabriel‘s live performances, “intimate” will hardly be one of those adjectives, because usually there’s a spectacle involved in the veteran’s outings. Still, a show he gave in Real World Studios on November 23rd, 2003 was exactly that – played for the members of the artist’s Full Moon Club with the singer’s touring ensemble which included bassist Tony Levin and guitarist David Rhodes. The exclusivity of it all warranted the recording’s consignment to archive afterwards – and it ended up on bootlegs, of course – but finally, it’s out for all to listen to.
“In The Big Room” saw the public release today on all digital platforms, and there’s a chance there will be physical formats unveiled later on.
