RAINBOW’s Donington Set To Be Out?

Difficult to say to what extent this is official, but Amazon.de has listed a forthcoming – scheduled for April 22nd – release from RAINBOW: Ritchie Blackmore’s ensemble’s much-coveted set from 1980’s “Monsters of Rock” festival. Titled “Monsters of Rock – Live at Donington 1980,” it should be a DVD and CD combo in packed in jewel case… with neither of discs seeming to represent a full concert of a Graham Bonnet-fronted band: audio omits “Love’s No Friend,” “Since You Been Gone” and “Man On The Silver Mountain” – at least these aren’t mentioned as separate tracks, and “Kill The King” probably stays within “Long Live Rock ‘n’ Roll” – and video is the same film that’s been in circulation for ages before it became legitimate as part of the “Light In The Black” box set. Whether this one is legit as well remains to be seem but, hopefully, it is.

The combo’s content look like this:
