Star-Strewn SONIC ELEMENTS Cover GENESIS’ “Lamb” Album

While rumors started circulating of “The Lamb Lies Down On Broadway” seeing expanded reissue next year, a project emerged gathering artists who jump on the GENESIS album’s 50th anniversary bandwagon – or, rather, preceding this vehicle. Titled “it” and credited to SONIC ELEMENTS, the endeavor’s masterminded by Dave Kerzner, a keyboard player most suited to handle it, as he didn’t only helped out the legendary English ensemble with their sounds during the veterans’ last tours but also ended up owning a few of Tony Banks’ instruments of which some were used in the creation of his latest tribute platter.

Stating that “it” is a reimagining of “The Lamb” as a symphonic film soundtrack – and the word “symphonic” should partially refer to the presence of a real orchestra – Kerzner invited Francis Dunnery, Nick D’Virgilio, Steve Rothery, Fernando Perdomo, Lee Pomeroy, Billy Sherwood and other luminaries to join him in this venture which will be available on November 22nd as a double-CD and a three-CD deluxe editions, the latter featuring extra material and extra personnel – see below. Daunting, to say the least.
