THE ALARM Put Out Mike Peters’s Final Album

It’s a story of spiritual triumph, of struggle and perseverance, of optimism and loss. When THE ALARM started work on their new record, the Welsh ensemble’s singer Mike Peters knew he was about to die, and still he hoped experimental treatment could make cancer go away, if only for a while. What Peters didn’t know was how much he would be able to create between chemotherapy sessions, yet Mike somehow managed to preserve his ideas for posterity and to flesh them out into proper songs which documented that fight for survival. Within a year from his diagnosis, he was gone, though, leaving this world on April 29th, 2025, and now the work he dedicated so much of his precious time is ready to be issued.

Titled “Transformation” and scheduled for release on May 29th, exactly one year after Mike Peters was buried, it’s a life-affirming collection of pieces – and a great testament to a true artist’s love of the world.
