On the rise again during the last decade, URIAH HEEP took their new album in the wake of tragedy: the untimely passing of their long-serving bassist Trevor Bolder. As he would have wished, that doesn’t get in the way of new music from the band who get younger year by year, both in the veterans’ attitude and the players’ age, their latest recruit Davey Rimmer having lined up after drummer Russell Gilbrook, the HEEP skin-kicker since 2008. And now, with the core of founder guitarist Mick Box, singer Bernie Shaw and keyboardist Phil Lanzon, the quintet recorded their latest studio album.
Called “Outsider,” it’s scheduled for release on June 10th and looks like this – teasing, although the title “Looking At You” might lead to some confusion with HEEP’s classic “Look At Yourself”:
1. Speed Of Sound
2. One Minute
3. The Law
4. The Outsider
5. Rock The Foundation
6. Is Anybody Gonna Help Me?
7. Looking At You
8. Can’t Take That Away
9. Jesse
10. Kiss The Rainbow
11. Say Goodbye
