He might be overloading the market a little, seeing the recent appearance of 2003’s “In The Big Room” recording on digital platforms and the forthcoming arrival of the “Lamb” box set, but Peter Gabriel‘s fans will rejoice at the news of the arrival on August 8th of the singer’s full set from 1982’s WOMAD festival he had founded two years earlier.
Accompanied by a stellar ensemble – whose ranks included Peter Hammill, Larry Fast, David Rhodes, Jerry Marotta, Ekomé and John Giblin, – Gabriel delivered nine pieces, of which seven were yet to see the light of day on his fourth album, with only two issued four decades later, in 2022, on a commemorative various-artists report of the event. Now, Peter’s performance is going to be out.
