That’s from Ian McLagan himself: the long-overdue FACES box set will be out around Christmas. The 4CD compilation will include every track the band recorded, each single side and previously unreleased studio, radio and live tracks.
Meanwhile, a year to the date since the Steve Marriott Memorial Concert took place in London’s Astoria on April 20th, 2001, a CD document of the show is out. Called Mustn’t Grumble, it is a single CD that will be followed later by a boxed set with the complete three-hour recording of th event, a book and interviews with the participants. Also there may be a video / DVD release yet this year won’t see it out. The performers and songs on the CD are:
