2016 could really be called the year of Graham Bonnet. Not only a part of his solo catalogue, including archive material, saw a reissue but also a string of albums with the singer on got re-released, including ALCATRAZZ and BLACKTHORNE – and that’s without mentioning “The Book”: the veteran’s album with his own group. A great selection from all those, and other, projects that Graham took a part in – spanning 1968-2017 – make Bonnet’s “Anthology” that will see the light of day on April 28th. There are well-known cuts on those 2 CDs as well as less prominent tracks, like the one he recorded with RAINBOW and MSG, plus a few previously unreleased songs, marked with asterisk in the breakdown below; yet there’s also a DVD where some great videos are housed, even though some of what’s available online didn’t make it onto the disc.
Anyway, it’s a great compilation, so one – to quote one of the songs on offer – can’t complain. Here’s what it’s going to look like:
