HARMONIA Mark A Jubilee Of Their First Effort

One of the first German supergroups and one of the most remarkable Krautrock collectives, HARMONIA came to exist when CLUSTER, having released their now-classic second platter, welcomed Michael Rother from NEU! – another multi-instrumentalist and, thus, a kindred spirit to Hans-Joachim Roedelius and Dieter Moebius, both of whom also played guitar and keyboards – and issued no less classic “Musik von Harmonia” in 1974. And now, in the days when Roedelius celebrates his 90th birthday, the latter album is up for expanded reissue.

There doesn’t seem to be a CD variant available for pre-order, so what will be out on November 1st is a special anniversary edition two-LP set with the original record and a bunch of previously unreleased reworks. Given the band’s experimental character, the bonus tracks must be interesting.
