At The Roundhouse
It had been four decades since HAWKWIND last graced – or, rather, grazed – the stage of a certain London concert venue, located in Chalk Farm, when the legendary ensemble returned there on May 26th, 2017, soon after the release of their latest studio album. There, the band performed their fresh cuts, alongside a couple of pieces from their previous album, "The Machine Stops", and classic gems from the likes of "Warrior On The Edge Of Time". The result – titled “At The Roundhouse” – is scheduled to see the light of day on December 8th, as a box set.
Inside the deluxe packaging will be two CDs and a DVD with the same tracklist – the group’d entire show, including encores with MOTÖRHEAD’s Phil Campbell guesting, a booklet and a poster. Vinyl edition is to follow early next year. Quite a present.
