About 10 days ago, speaking to DME, drummer John Robinson mentioned he was going to play on Mike Oldfield‘s new album, together with bassist Leland Sklar. And now the latter reported on finishing of the yet-untitled work that will be released soon after the reissues of two Oldfield’s classics, “Crises” and “Five Miles Out”, the former a whopping 5-disc box set.
“Killer band, fab producer, great engineer and 2nd and a very cool artist with great songs for us to dig our teeth into. Everyone brought their ‘A’ game”, writes Sklar.
