It’s been a bountiful forty-five-year run for MINISTRY – if one’s willing to discount the gap between 2008 and 2011 – but now Al Jourgensen is ready to fulfil his promise and bring the ensemble to a glorious end by releasing an album that will be their final offering. Slyly named “Hate To Go: Take Out Or Delivery” and set to appear on October 30th, the American band’s seventeenth studio opus – prefaced by the tellingly titled single “Burned Out” – sees the brief return, for the first time in more than two decades, of former bassist Paul Barker, which givs the whole affair a sense of coming full circle.
