YNGWIE TO DONATE GUITAR TO HARD ROCK CAFE

Renowned guitar virtuoso Yngwie J. Malmsteen will donate one of his electric guitars to the Hard Rock Cafe in New York City on Monday, October 16 at 6 p.m.

The guitar is a 1980s model Fender Stratocaster that Malmsteen played on an eight-month tour of Japan and Europe last year while promoting his album “Alchemy”. The cream-colored guitar features a maple neck and a scalloped fretboard, one of the Swedish-born musician’s trademarks.

The presentation will be part of his press junket in New York to publicize the new Yngwie J. Malmsteen’s RISISNG FORCE album “War to End All Wars” scheduled for release on November 7 through Spitfire Records. Spitfire is also reissuing several Malmsteen catalog titles on CD that were never released domestically.
