Van Morrison Gets The Blues Back

December 20, 2025

A jack of all trades style-wise, what Van Morrison always did best of all, from THEM on, was singing the blues, and wherever fancy might take the Irish warbler, he seemed to double back to that seminal genre. While the veteran’s latest effort, "Remembering Now" which saw the light of day last June, boasted a healthy dose of all-original material, it lacked a bit of vim 2023’s "Accentuate The Positive" got high on, with rock ‘n’ roll classics sounding so invigorating in Van’s interpretation, so one will rejoice at the news of Morrison reaching for perennials again, on his forthcoming album slated for the January 23rd release.

December 19, 2025

With his recent appearances on tour with FOREIGNER, and the ensemble’s belated joining the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, there’s no time like now for Lou Gramm to prepare a new solo album, something the singer first hinted at as far back as 2019. December 15, 2025

For all their idiosyncrasy, both in studio and onstage, THE SENSATIONAL ALEX HARVEY BAND were a fantastic proposition in front of audience – unreliable, in terms of any given performance’s quality, but fantastic nevertheless, and the Scottish ensemble’s followers, of which there are surprising multitude, never tire of collecting their recordings. It’s these fans, then, that a forthcoming box set is aimed at, with 21 discs spanning 1973-1977 and preserving for posterity no less than 16 concerts.
