Never the one to disappoint fans, David Coverdale has been pretty much consistent with issuing the WHITESNAKE recordings that are at his disposal, and while the ensemble’s early material still seems to be out of the singer’s reach, the extra mile he goes when it comes to adding content to box sets and keeping their price reasonable is another reason to love and respect the Guv’nor. And now, perhaps sensing that quite a few of the band’s relatively recent CD or CD/DVD packages became hard to find, he decided to combine those in a standalone audio-only release.
