Even though it would be only logical if the recent reissue of John Lennon‘s "Mind Games" was followed by an expanded edition of his next album, “Walls And Bridges” from 1974, one can ignore the glaring omission from this archival program of the late Beatle’s 1972 output. But if the allure of “Some Time In New York City” is rather limited, the listeners’ interest to “Live In New York City” – which, although recorded soon after that longplay, saw the light only in 1986 – remains undiminished. And chances are the legendary concert will be out quite soon – as suggested by the planned arrival of an EP of the same origin on Record Store Day.
