It happens every 10 years: another slew of URIAH HEEP reissues hit the shelves, each time bringing forth more and more bonus tracks. But although it looked like the run which started in 2004 uncovered everything there was and further expansion would be a bout of barrel-scraping, this year the band launch – as we mentioned before – a deluxe editions campaign.
September 30th will see its first installment, comprising a 2CD compilation, one of myriad by now, “Your Turn To Remember: The Definitive Anthology 1970-1990” as well as HEEP’s debut, “…Very ‘Eavy …Very ‘Umble” – also a double-disc presentation. Nothing quite new on the latter, only alternative mixes – said to be previously unreleased which is hard to believe – including some of HEEP precursor SPICE’s pieces, joining a freshly remastered original.
While the aforementioned collection is aimed mostly at completists and the uninitiated, the album may prompt many a core fan shell out… again. So here’s what’s on there:
