Whether LED ZEPPELIN were a hard rock band band with a psychedelic bent is open to debate, yet one can hardly argue with a mind-boggling heavy madness of “Whole Lotta Love” or the myth imagery of “Stairway To Heaven”: no wonder, then, that a current crop of stoner rock artists are eager to pray at the altar of the influential quartet – the way they did on a recent BLACK SABBATH tribute. Available on CD and 2LP, the collection should provide a new angle on classic repertoire.
