Bill Wyman Takes A Test Drive On New Platter

June 6, 2024

Nobody expected Bill Wyman to issue another album any day soon, and most listeners assumed 2015’s “Back To Basics” was his last-ever offering. Still, the erstwhile Stone keeps on rolling, and August 9th will see the release of the 87-years-old’s sixth solo platter.

10CC Dust Off Old Concert; Graham Gouldman Brings Starr And May To Fresh Album

June 5, 2024

Amazingly, given the longevity of both 10CC and Graham Gouldman‘s careers, the number of the band’s platters of onstage origin and the composer’s solo albums are very limited. That’s why it’s so great to see their new releases scheduled for the next month: the ensemble’s “Live 1980” and the multi-instrumentalist’s “I Have Notes” – the former, as its title suggests, an old recording, the latter a freshly cut one.

MC5’s Final Shot Is Ready For Guest-Infested Release

June 5, 2024

Yet Bob Dylan was the artist whose oeuvre the veteran singer didn’t cover on record – until now that she relented and replies to her followers’ requests by taking a break from the “Power Women Of The Blues” series and releasing an entire album comprised of the American bard’s pieces.

HEART’s Ann Wilson And TRIPSITTER Put Out A Concert Record

June 3, 2024

One year ago the reunion of HEART seemed rather unlikely, with Nancy and Ann Wilson working independently even after the sisters had announced the end of their sabbatical back in 2019, until December 2023 saw the two grace the stage together, with “Royal Flush World Tour” scheduled for this summer. However, before that Ann released her fourth solo album, the singer’s first platter completely comprised of original material; titled “Another Door” and featuring her own collective, TRIPSITTER, it would be brought to the stage and even became the subject of PBS special, available for streaming – and making its way to a mass product now.
