One may suggest Eric Clapton has always been an opportunist but sometimes his sensibilities are in the right place – presumably so – because nobody can assure the proceeds from the concert the veteran played in front of a small audience in London last December and the forthcoming release of that performance’s recording will indeed benefit the children of Gaza Strip rather than Hamas terrorists who stand behind the tragedy happening there. For what it’s worth, though, the dozen-track CD and Blu-ray album, titled “To Save A Child” and scheduled for July 12th, looks alluring.
